Who We Are
Sunshine Projects provides exceptional enrichment and leadership development opportunities to young adults of all abilities. We offer an opportunity to create and mold their own unique experiences through our wide range of educational and creative programs and activities. We see the true power that individuals with intellectual disabilities hold, and we have made it our mission to inspire them to become more creative, confident and independent.
We are a public 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to serving individuals of all abilities within the IDD community.
A Mission in Bloom
Joy of Petals is a flower farm that provides a therapeutic space where flowers and purpose grow side by side. Rooted in the mission of Sunshine Projects, Joy of Petals offers the community a chance to enjoy fresh, seasonal flowers while directly supporting the creativity and empowerment of our members with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

At Joy of Petals, every stem tells a story — of growth, joy, and therapeutic renewal for both our members and our community.
Vision
We've created the Joy of Petals with a clear vision of delivering the freshest flowers at a reasonable price and to offer a unique co-op inspired flower shop utilizing the many talents of young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These individuals provide us with the inspiration, passion and the energy to truly create floral arrangements that are both beautiful, inspiring and made with lots of love.
